Chopta is a picturesque hamlet which is still unexplored by travelers, is also famous as "Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand". Wake up with cool salubrious breeze and chirping of birds in Chopta which is a far cry from the blaring horns of the cities and other hill stations, morning view from Chopta is invigorating when the crimson rays of sun kisses the snow-laden Himalayas. Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.

Day 01: Departure from Delhi | Rishikesh Halt | Chopta Arrival
Start the thrilling journey from Delhi by 10:30 PM in an AC bus which is Day 0.Reach Rishikesh in morning to get transferred to private vechicle meanwhile you can have you breakast on your own.Take a stop at Devprayag to witness the beautiful Sangam of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda.Transfer for an onward journey in a car, head out of the vehicle windows and invigorate with the cool wind on the way to Chopta.Lunch halt will be at Srinagar which is the most popular place in Garhwal region.Reach at the campsite at 5:00 PM in Baniya Kund & enjoy the welcome snacks.Take all the time to soak into the beautiful wild surroundings followed by bonfire.Have Dinner at the campsite and retire for the day.

Day 02: Trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila Visit | Back to Chopta
Wake up early & witness the beautiful sunrise rising between the mountains.After breakfast head towards Tungnath Chandrashila trek which is the highest Shiva Temple in the world.Reach Tungnath after trekking 5 km on the snowy mountains & pay your respect at the highest abode of Lord Shiva.Enjoy a packed lunch & start the journey to the most astonished Chandrashila peak.Come back to the Chopta campsite by evening

Day 3 : Deoria Tal Trek - Delhi | Departure
Wake up in the laps of the mountains.Early morning wake up at 5:00 AMHave breakfast and start a 2.5 km trek to Deoria tal.A beautiful lake surrounded with lush greenery & snow-covered mountains in the backdrop.Trek back & reach Sari village at 10:00 AM.Packen up the luggage & depart back for i by 10:30 AM in a car to Rishikesh.Change the transport in Rishikesh & carry the onward journey in a bus.Reach Delhi next day early morning which is Day 4 and end the trip pocket full of memories..
