• Overview

    Char Dham Yatra is a tour of the four Hindu shrines namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These shrines are located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. This yatra is also called Chota Char Dham Yatra. The holy river Yamuna originates from Yamunotri, Maa Ganga from Gangotri, Mandakani from Kedarnath and Alakhnanda, Saraswati from Badrinath ji. Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva in India which is considered to be the main places of worship of Lord Shiva.

     The Char Dham Yatra Package of Uttarakhand is considered as one of the most propitious journey for the Hindu devotees and this travel is done by a lot of pilgrims from all over the world.     Tour Itinerary

    • Day 01 : Rishikesh - Barkot (170 Kms. 07 Hrs)

      Morning after breakfast drive to Barkot. It is an approx 200 Kms in 7 hrs journey. En-route visit Kempty fall at Mussoorie. On arrival at Barkot check-in hotel. Overnight stay at Barkot

    • Day 02 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 Kms Drive/6 Kms Trek)

      Early breakfast drive to Janki Chatti and then trek for Yamunotri. You can cover the trekking distance either by walk or ride horse or on Doli. One side distance for the third day is 36 Kms drive and 7 Kms trek.
      At Yamunotri take a bath in Jamnabai Kund and dip raw rice or potato in Surya Kund, after cooking use it as Prasad. Witness the mesmerizing view of Aarti offered to Divya Shila and to main deity Yamunaji. Later drive back to Barkot for overnight stay.

      The juncture of Hanuman Ganga and Yamuna River.

      Yamunotri Temple

      Maharani Gularia of Jaipur constructed the sanctuary in the nineteenth Century. It was annihilated twice in the present century and reconstructed once more.

      Surya Kund

      There are a Number of warm springs in the region of the sanctuary, which streams into various pools. The most critical of these is Surya Kund.

      Divya Shila

      A stone column, adored before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

    • Day 03 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 82 Kms, 04 Hrs)

      In the morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi for night halt by covering distance approx. 100 Kms in 4 hrs. Visit Vishwanath temple at Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

      Uttarkashi

      Situated at the bank of stream Bhagirathi. The sanctuary of Lord Vishwanath is situated here where an enormous iron trident is raised. The other essential sanctuaries arranged here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi.

    • Day 04 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. Per Way)

      After Early Breakfast drive to Gangotri. which is located at an altitude of 3048 meters and surrounded by snow capped picturesque Himalayans. After Offering prayer at Gangotri temple explore the place. Don't forget to look at submerged Shivling of natural rock. Drive back to to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

    • Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (223 Kms. Drive 09 - 10 Hrs)

      After an early breakfast drive to Guptkashi. It is an approx 210 Kms in 7 hrs journey. On arrival check in at hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

      Guptakashi

      Guptakashi is situated in the Northern Himalayan belt inside the Mandakini waterway valley, which has rich green woodlands. Various streams and rivulets deplete into the primary Mandakini River. It has salubrious atmosphere with its rise being around 1,319 meters (4,330 ft). The snow shimmering perspective of the Chaukhamba pinnacle is a flawless incredible sight in the morning hours from here. The valley has substantial magnolia trees (privately called Champa) that give a sweet scented air to the place.

    • Day 06 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 Kms Drive, 14 Kms. Trek)

      In the morning leave for Gaurikund, from this place trek to Kedarnath commences. Kedarnath is located at an altitude of 3584 meters from sea level. By cover the distance 45 Kms and 14 Kms via trekking. To cover trekking distance you can hire pony or Doli. Kedarnath houses one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. On reaching Kedarnath visit the main temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

      Chardham Packages Kedarnath : is a magnificent sight, remaining amidst a wide level encompassed by elevated snow secured crests. The present sanctuary, worked in the eighth century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands neighboring the site of a prior sanctuary worked by the Pandavas. The inward dividers of the get together corridor are brightened with figures of different gods and scenes from mythology. Outside the sanctuary entryway a vast statue of the Nandi Bull remains as monitor.

    • Day 07 : Kedarnath - Pipalkoti (14 Kms Trek 158 Kms Drive)

      After early morning visit to Kedarnath temple return for Gaurikund (14 Kms trekking distance). And drive for Pipalkoti, covering approx. 158 Kms in five hr.

    • Day 08 : Pipalkoti - Badrinath (75 kms and takes 2-3 hours)

      After breakfast proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath. Road distance include here is 77 Kms which will covered in 3 hrs. On arrival at Badrinath check-in hotel and enjoy the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

      Tapt Kund

      Natural warm springs on the bank of the waterway Alaknanda, where it is standard to bathe before entering the Badrinath sanctuary.

      Narad Kund

      A break in the waterway, close Tapt Kund, shaping a pool from where the Badrinath symbol was recouped.

      Mata Murty Temple

      Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other imperative sanctuaries incorporate Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.

      Mana Village

      Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian town before Tibet.

      Bhim Pul

    • Day 09 : Badrinath - Rudraprayag (180 Kms)

      Early morning take a holy bath at Tapt Kund and then go for the Darshan of Badrivishal Brahma kapal for the Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors. Explore the other holy sites at Badrinath like Mana, Vyas Cave, Bhimkund etc. Thereafter, proceed for Srinagar (7 hrs. journey).

    • Day 10 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh

      In the morning after early breakfast drive to Rishikesh. It is a 80 Kms, 03 hrs drive.
