    Tour Itinerary

    • Day 1 – Drive from Rishikesh to Sankri

      Pick Up Point- Rishikesh Railway Station
      Pick Up Time- 7:00 am
      Drive distance- 230km
      Drive Duration- 8-9 hours
      Altitude- 1920m/6455ft
      As on the date of commencement of the trek all the members of the group must meet our tour guide in Rishikesh railway station at 7 am in the morning. You can reach Rishikesh one day prior to the date of departure of the trek. Haridwar literally translates to ‘Gateway to God’. Where the elixir of immortality fell on earth. 24 km away from Haridwar lies Rishikesh (world yoga capital). A serene location on the bank of holy river Ganga, it is a tranquil tourist destination famous for spirituality and adventure sports and other outdoor activities. We can pick you up from Rishikesh or Haridwar and then drive to Sankri village, which is our first stop. The drive will be from 9-10 hours in Garhwal region. A mesmerising view you can get as the route takes you from Mussoorie (queen of hills). Some other places you get in between are Barkot, Purola, Mori and other small villages also with beautiful mountains and greenery of agricultural fields. It is a paradise of the Himalayas for every trekker. It is not just a scenic hamlet but also a trekkers delight. Your long ride journey will take you in the Himalayan valleys with the background of majestic mountains, lofty forests of pine and rivers like Yamuna, tons, kedar ganga gushing beside your travel path. In between the route breakfast and lunch will be provided and by the evening time we are going to reach Sankri village that is in Govind National Wildlife Sanctuary. A stay will be provided to the trekkers either in a hotel or a homestay with hot dinner. We will be staying and taking rest in Sankri and should be ready for the next day trek.

    • Day 2 – Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab

      Distance- 12 km drive
      Trek Distance- 4 km
      Trek duration- 3-4 hours
      Altitude- 2750 m / 9100 ft
      On the next day we have to wake up early in the morning, get your things done and be ready by 7 am. Try to make your body comfortable with the weather as it will help your body to acclimatise. After that we will have breakfast and by 8 am we will start our trek to Juda-Ka-Talab. The trek begins from Sankri and the campsite can be reached within 3-4 hours easily. The trek route starts on the right and starts climbing up where we enter into the forest cover. From here it is a constant, but easy climb to our campsite at Juda-Ka-Talab. Kedarkantha peak may not be visible to you in this entire day trek. We will be taking small halts not just to rest but to view nature in its reality. We will set our camps near the lake. Juda-Ka-Talab is a beautiful small lake surrounded by the trees in the middle of the forest. In winters the lake freezes and sometimes you can walk over it. After reaching we will have our lunch and will take some rest. In the evening we all can gather around and have some conversations, photography and some other fun games that will keep us engaged. The sunset drops early and cold winds start blowing through the forest.We are going to stay in camps overnight and hot dinner will be served. After dinner you can take rest and gather your energy for the next day's trek to kedarkantha base camp. A good day ends.

    • Day 3 – Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base camp

      Trekking Time- 3-4 hours
      Trek Distance- 3-4km
      Altitude- 3430 m / 11250 ft approx..
      On the third day, the trek duration is less than 3-4 km as we start from Juda-Ka-Talab campsite to Kedarkantha base camp. In the morning, the trek will start after breakfast. As the eyes open, the challenge starts to get out of your comfort zone. With a hot tea and breakfast the Sun rises and motivates you to come out and observe the nature's beauty. The trail passes through the oak trees and white snow covered pastures and one can easily find wild flora, undulating meadows, snow covered mountains and through the forest the trail will lead you to the Kedarkantha base camp. This stretch of 2km is very good and beautiful for nature lovers as it is unbelievable and promises to leave behind some cheerful memories for you. What makes the mountains majestic is the view that you will get here. From the base camp one can easily see the summit and many other peaks through their naked eyes. The base camp lies at an open meadow where we can pitch our camps. At this time we all will be at an altitude of 11200 ft approx. We will reach here before afternoon and after reaching base camp we all will take a short rest and then start pitching our camps. We choose our campsite as per our advantages and ease out rest of the day. In the evening time you can explore nearby places and we will also give you small preparation talk about the gears you are going to use in snow. We are going to stay here overnight and hot dinner will be served to the trekkers. Before going back to your camps small briefing will be given to everyone for the next day trek. Try to make your body adapt to the nature and take a good sleep as the next day we all have to wake up at dawn.

    • Day 4 – Basecamp to Summit & descend back to Hargaon campsite

      Trekking Time- 6-7 hours
      Trek Distance- 6 km
      Altitude- 3850 m /12650 ft
      This will be the final day of ascent of the trek. On our 4th day we have to wake up early in the morning and get ready as early as possible. We will finish our breakfast and leave the base camp as early as we can. Today will be a long and tiring day. You will get an open and steep terrain to trek and will ascend to an altitude of 12500 ft. The climb is steep but worthwhile and of course with rewarding views. From the summit you can see approx. 13 peaks. Some of the peaks are Mt.Swargarohini, Kalanaag, Bandarpoonch and other ranges of Gangotri, Yamunotri. Rupin range and Har-ki-Doon range from the top. We will be staying there at the summit for some time and you can click pictures of the Himalayas and soak in the beauty of Nature. After that we will be descending back to the base camp, and will take a halt there. The lunch will be given to all the trekkers at the base camp. This meal is well deserved by everyone after such a tough trek. And after regaining our breath and energy we will pack up our bags and Tents to again start our trek which will take us to Hargaon campsite. The campsite is covered with snow in winters and surrounded by oak trees as well as pine trees. We will set our camps at the campsite and take a well deserved rest for some time. We are going to stay here overnight in the camps and hot dinner will be served at Dinner time. You can take rest, do photography and explore nearby areas of this serene place. We might indulge in some of the camping fun and group talks. Sleep well and make your body comfortable and be ready for the last descent trek to Sankri village.

    • Day 5- Hargaon campsite to Sankri

      Trekking Time- 3-4 hours
      Trek distance- 5-6km
      Altitude - 1920 m / 6255 ft
      On this day we have to wake up in the morning by 7 am and get ready all our rucksacks. After breakfast we are going to leave our camps and get start our trek back to the Sankri village. Before afternoon we will reach our destination and the trekkers will be provided with the rooms in hotels or in home stays. A very delicious and hot lunch will be given to you all and the rest of the day you can check in the local market and explore nearby local villages nearby for more cultural knowledge. This will be our last day in the mountains so we would love to enjoy this day very well with our group members. In the evening the whole group will gather in one place and we all could talk about the trek and personal experiences that we have got here. At night the best and delicious dinner will be served to you with the famous local dishes. You can take rest after dinner and pack your things for the upcoming next day. Relax your body and enjoy nature with your group or friends and make memories that you are going to cherish in future.

    • Day 6- Drive from Sankri to Rishikesh

      Trek Distance- 12-13km
      Driving time- 9-10 hours
      Distance- 230 km drive
      This will be your final day with us and we have to wake up early in the morning so that we can finish our breakfast as well as loading of rucksacks and other luggage in our vehicles Everyone has to wake up early in the morning and be ready for breakfast before 7 am as we will be leaving after breakfast. The drive route is the same as we came on Day 1 and we are going to reach Rishikesh by the evening as the distance is more than 250km and the routes are hilly and have curved roads. After reaching Rishikesh the tour comes to an end. We will be debriefing you and from here it is on you whether you all can stay here in Rishikesh only or else you can move further to your destination. Busses are also available to Delhi till night 10P.M. and after that no busses are available for anywhere.
