Day 1 - Drive from Rishikesh to Sankri
Pick Up Point- Rishikesh Railway Station
Pick Up Time- 7:00 am
Drive distance- 230km
Drive Duration- 8-9 hours
Altitude- 1920m/6455ft
As on the date of commencement of the trek all the members of the group must meet our tour guide in Rishikesh railway station at 7A.M in the morning. You can reach Rishikesh one day prior to the date of departure of the trek. Haridwar literally translates to ‘Gateway to God’. Where the elixir of immortality fell on earth. 24km away from Haridwar lies Rishikesh(world yoga capital). A serene location on the bank of holy river Ganga, it is a tranquil tourist destination famous for spirituality and adventure sports and other outdoor activities. We can pick you up from Rishikesh or Haridwar and then drive to Sankri village, which is our first stop. The drive will be from 9- 10hr in Garhwal region. A mesmerizing view you can get as the route takes you from Mussoorie(queen of hills). Some other places you get in between are Barkot, Purola, Mori and other small villages also with beautiful mountains and greenery of agricultural fields. It is a paradise of the Himalayas for every trekker. It is not just a scenic hamlet but also a trekkers delight. Your long ride journey will take you in the Himalayan valleys with the background of majestic mountains, lofty forests of pine and rivers like Yamuna, tons, kedarganga gushing beside your travel path. In between the route breakfast and lunch will be provided and by the evening time we are going to reach Sankri village that is in Govind National Wildlife Sanctuary. A stay will be provided to the trekkers either in hotels or homestays with hot dinner. We will be staying and taking rest in Sankri and should be ready for the next day trek. -
Day 2 - Drive from Sankri to Taluka & trek to Osla/Seema

Driving Time- 1 hours
Trek Distance- 12-13km
Trek duration- 6-7 hours
Altitude- 2550m/8366ft
Your day starts with the beautiful morning at Sankri. It is advisable to wake up on time so that we can do breakfast and move further as per our itinerary. After breakfast we will move to Taluka in vehicles that are about 12 km from Sankri. Our trek starts from Taluka. The trek is nearly about 12-13 km. The trail passes from the forest of chestnut, walnut and other vegetation also. Moving into the forest will make you realize that the sound of nature is much more serene then the city. One can easily find different species of the bird during the trek. The trail is easy in the starting but further it is a little steep. We are going to cross the bridge to reach Dhatmir village as well as we will also cross tons of rivers. One could enjoy the amazing view of sprawling wild orchids and also the locals or shepherds walking with their sheep. You will get some points where you can fill up your water bottles and also we will be taking halts in the shadows of trees and in the forest. Before reaching the Osla village you will cross one more village that is Gangar. It is a beautiful village situated along the river opposite to the main trail. The view and the valley is majestic and serene with flora, fauna and the civilization that are less concerned with the luxurious lifestyle. By afternoon we will finally reach our destination ,Osla village. Situated at an elevation of 2500m approx this is the last village that comes in between our trail. A beautiful village with a great architecture, this hamlet is so serene that surely one will enjoy living here. Once we will be there, we are going to pitch up the tents and after that lunch will be served. In the evening you can roam around the place or else you could take a rest. The night will be cooler and you could see the sky full of stars. Dinner will be served at night and after that you have your own time. Sleep well and be ready for the next day’s trek. Good day comes to an end. -
Day 3 - Trek from Osla/Seema to KalkatiyaDhar
Trekking Time- 4-5 hours
Trek Distance- 5-6km
Altitude- 3050m/10000ft approx.
Your day starts with the morning tea. You have to pack up your things before breakfast and be ready by 8a.m. Once breakfast is done we will start moving towards our next destination that is KalkatiyaDhar. The trail is easy in the starting and moderate at the end. As the name suggests dhar means ridge and we have to cross the steep trail at the end. Nothing comes to your hand easily so the efforts made by you will surely make you happy. This day entails cruising 5-6km towards your next destination of KalkatiyaDhar throughout which you will experience a gradual terrain and pleasant views of the valleys, plains and towering mountains. The whole trail passes through agricultural fields of the villages. Just the end part is the steep one which you have to go through as you know the best view comes with the hardest climb. We are going to take halts in between but for shorter time By afternoon you will finally reach your campsite. Pitching up tents and followed by lunch, with that you can take rest for a while. In the evening you all can roam nearby or else you can do some activities to build up a good relationship with the members of the group. The evenings are a bit cooler than days so it is advisable to wear some full sleeves uppers. The dinner will be served at night around 8p.m depending upon the weather condition, as the weather in Himalayas are not predictable. At an elevation of 3000m one can see a clear sky full of stars if the weather is good and the sky is clear. Before the day comes to end we will brief you for the next day and after that you can have your time. -
Day 4 - Trek from KalkatiyaDhar to Har-ki-Doon& back
Trekking Time- 3-4 hours
Trek Distance- 6-7km
Altitude- 3558m/11675ft
You would never like to miss the sunrise of a valley full of mountains around you and with the chill breeze the serenity of that place. On your 4th day of the trek the very first thing you have to do is packing a small backpack for today’s trek. After breakfast we all will be moving further to our next destination, Har-ki-Doon. The trail is easy and you will be passing through the forest area and soon the time will come when you will come across the valley. As we move further from KalkatiyaDhar the trail gives you a majestic clear view of the valley. At the initial the trail is easy as told you earlier but before you come to an end the trail is a bit steeper. When you reach Har-ki-Dun, the sheer beauty of the valley will make you never want to leave the place. So, a rest day at the campsite is highly recommended. At Har-ki-Dun, one can see the vast grounds below Swargarohini-1 peak. The meadows here are full of alpine flowers. You can explore the entire ground in about an hour or two. A small stream flows in that area with the lush green meadows and a scenic view of Mt.Swargarohini. Earlier it was allowed to pitch camps there but not now. So we are going to spend time here and after that we will get back to KalkatiyaDhar where our tents are already pitched. We will be carrying pack lunch during the trek and once we will be back to our campsite by late afternoon snacks will be provided to the group. In the evening you all can take a rest for some time. Evenings are colder so we will try to have dinner by 8p.m and after that a small briefing will be given to the group. Once all the things are covered you can take rest and sleep. A good day comes to an end with beautiful memories and moments. -
Day 5- Trek from KalkatiyaDhar to Osla/Seema
Trekking Time- 3-4 hours
Trek distance- 5-6km
We had to wake up early in the morning so that we could Spend some quality time appreciating the sunrise and enchanting view of Swargarohini Peaks from the campsite. During winters, the morning temperature can be quite cold ( around -2 degree) here. We have to get down before afternoon. There is a gradual climb up to KalkatiyaDhar and then it is a descend up to Seema. If time permits we will take a short halt at Osla village, where you can see the typical Garhwali Houses. Like most mountain villages, the location of Osla is such that it gets Sunlight throughout the day. So you can just sit and relax for some time. After a short while, we resume the descent to Seema .The trail is the same in which we came up, same with that we have to go back. As we are going down, as per your walking capabilities, we will be at Seema or Osla by afternoon and hot lunch will be available there only. After lunch you can travel around the local village area and temples or we can also go nearby the river for a peaceful evening with tea and lots of gossip. We have free time here in peace so we must use it very well so that it could give us happiness and maybe someday we cherish these moments. We are going to stay here for the night and at night hot dinner will be served. After dinner the whole group could sit over one place and we all could share our experiences about the place and the trek we did. -
Day 6- Trek from Osla to Taluka & drive to Sankri
Trekking Time- 4-5
Trek Distance- 12-13km
Driving time- 1 hours
Distance- 12 km drive
Today we will be having the schedule of descending from Osla/Seema to Taluka. Starting the day with morning tea and after some time breakfast will be served. Once done with the breakfast we will start our journey down to Taluka. The trek route is the same as earlier. It will take less time to get down in comparison to going upward. As per the schedule it will hardly take us 4-5 hours to reach Taluka village, depending upon the walking capability of the whole group. Once we reach there it will take 1 more hour to reach Sankri and from Taluka to Sankri we will be moving in vehicles.the drive distance is nearly about 12km only. In the late afternoon we will be there at Sankri. We will be staying either in guest houses or else in home stays. After reaching you can take rest or can also go to the market. There is also a zip line at Sankri so if anyone wants to do that, it’s on them. The cost of any other activities like zip line isn’t included in this package so one must have to pay for it by themselves only. This will be our final day at Sankri so we will be having a discussion about the trek at night time before dinner. Once the dinner is served you can have your own time and you can take rest after that. So a good day comes to an end in the mountains and the very next day you have to leave for the Rishikesh. -
Day 7 – Drive from Sankri to Rishikesh
Drive distance- 230km
Drive Duration- 8-9 hours
This will be your final day with us and we have to wake up early in the morning so that we can finish our breakfast as well as loading of rucksacks and other luggage in our vehicles. By the time 8A.M we are going to leave Sankri village so that we can reach our final destination within the time. In between the travel route a hot lunch will be served to you. After reaching Rishikesh a small briefing will be given to you by our tour guides and after that you all are free and can go wherever you want. Either you can stay in Rishikesh or else you can get back to your places from where you belong. The busses are available in ISBT Rishikesh till 10P.M in the night for Delhi and Haridwar.
